Breadmaking in Nailsworth
The recently posted new dates, Sunday 15th January 2012 and Sunday 25th March 2012, for breadmaking courses at Hobbs House Bakery in Nailsworth, are now completely full.
The Hobbs House one day breadmaking course with Tom Herbert has been a runaway success for the past 10 years.
Whether you are starting from scratch, or want to get down to the nitty-gritty beyond the nous of baking books, each bread making course is held in a small group so everyone gets hands-on and can get what they will from Tom's fountain of practical knowledge. Here you'll learn the art of the croissant (and you can eat it too, washed down with some mighty fine Illy coffee), the miraculous properties of the resurgent sourdough (and you can take home your own starter monster, so your home baking can continue to rise and rise), and many other indispensable recipies in a jam-packed day of kneading, proving, talking, baking and eating.
The Hobbs House Bakery breadmaking course is currently undertaking a revamp, with more details to be announced soon.
If you sign up to our regular Hobbs House newsletter, we can keep you informed about new breadmaking course availability. Just enter you email address into the Newsletter Sign-up section lower down the page, to become our friend and hear first when Tom Herbert has new dates available.
